Resin surfaces are permeable, making them ideal for any problem drainage areas. We use UV-stable resin which is polyurethane water-based and BBA-approved (used on modern day ship hulls). This resin is clear in colour, with the natural-coloured stones (aggregates) providing the surface’s colour.
The stones are 1-3mm to 2-5mm chippings in quartz, granite, or flint, and these are excavated from gravel pits around the UK, Scotland, and Europe. As it is a natural product, the colours remain the same throughout their lifetime, unlike man-made products which can fade and discolour.
